Born in Glasgow, raised in Yorkshire to parents who lived in France.
I’ve never really known exactly where I fit.
It’s allowed me to indulge my curious side, take the path less travelled and inspired me to seek to understand what makes people and the planet at large ‘tick’.
It’s what drove me to seek a degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Bath. Only then to realise that it’s not really the politicians or the economists who provoke our emotions, or get us to change the way we live, work and spend our hard earned cash..
The World’s of Media, Marketing & Advertising at their core, are designed to do just that so I suppose it’s no surprise I fell into the Media industry in 2017 and have enjoyed these warm waters ever since.
What I discovered was a diverse melting-pot brimming with ingenuity, talent and creativity.
I’ve worked my way up, established my media fundamentals and been lucky enough to work on, and with, some of the World’s biggest brands.
I want to discover what that ocean holds faster than most, even if it means some iceberg dodging on the way.
That’s why I built this website, in the hope that it will allow me to reach further and faster into all corners of the industry.
Oh, and it also exists as a place for me to host what an Agency would call ‘Thought-Leadership’. If it was 2006 you might call it a ‘blog’. I just see it as a safe-space for me to share thoughts and insights about what is a rapidly evolving landscape and sector.
